- I get "unable to add modem" message from Win 95.
- This is an internal modem That I set to same port and IRQ 3 and 7 that
- were used by the sportster 14.4 it replaces.
- Have down loaded new inf file from USR
- Comm check in the install software does detect a modem on the port but
- later in the sequence when setting it up reports nomodem detected.
- Istalled modem as a Sportster 28800 internal as you can see that worked
- but I do not have what I paid for.
- Downloaded new Unidriver from MS result was that the modem would not
- install. Not even as the 28.8 internal. Had to re-install Windows and
- all updates to get back to just being able to using the 28.8 internal
- definition.
- Computer is a pentium 100 with 32M ram.USR has not replied to any notes.
-
- Thanks to anyone with ideas. If I have left out anything you need email
- me. Hope there are not too many blunders here it is my first post.
